great parks nearby for weekend city explorations

I loved how close this hotel was to both Beach Park, just over 2 km away, where I enjoyed a nice stroll with beautiful views, and Rabobank Arena, great for events, which made my weekend exploration really fun and easy.

100% recommend for a hurried visit.

A pool day turned disaster

The friendly staff quickly helped us change rooms when we reported the issues. The breakfast selection was okay, just wish there were more options.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very disappointing. The pool area was littered with trash, and the first room we entered had unsightly stains on the bedding.

The King Room had a comfortable bed, but it wasn’t very clean.

During my stay at California Inn And Suites Bakersfield, I appreciated the clean, spacious room with new wood and tile laminate flooring. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my experience truly enjoyable.

Had an awesome time with friends on our trip! We explored the local parks and enjoyed some great restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group. I recommend keeping an eye on the breakfast offerings as they can run out early.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room was a decent size and had a fridge and microwave, which was pretty handy. Lots of sketchy peeps hanging around outside though, and our room wasn’t super clean when we arrived. Employees were nice but check-in could be smoother. Dining was okay, nothing special, but it worked.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and outdoor swimming pool. On my first stay, the staff went above and beyond to help me find a lost jewel. I highly recommend it for a great stay, and I'm coming back for Easter.
